Dr. Lara has had experience treating illness in birds, reptiles of all sorts, exotic mammals such as rats, rabbits, ferrets, and hedgehogs, and also sugar-gliders. Our abilities extend not only to exotic animal medicine, but also to surgery. We specialize in ferret adrenalectomies (the removal of a ferret’s adrenal glands).
